Very Important Visitors

Yesterday we got special visit. Our relatives from Connecticut arrived at my grandmother’s house for dinner. We were so excited. My parents have not seen them for 11 years. Unfortunately they can not come to our wedding in September, because the kids have school. But we really enjoy to have them here.

My grandma organized a giant buffet and we were eating outside in the backyard. Yes, as you can see we have palms in Germany. Especially my grandma grows them.

And to my surprise, they brought some wedding gifts for us. Ok, I will have more use for them than Josi :o) I was so astonished. I kept the envelopes for the wedding day morning.
